Central Library Group Study Room Reservation

These rooms are provided for the purposes of seminars and joint research/collaborative studies, presentations, etc. by groups of students utilizing materials available at the library. You can also bring your own PC, calculators, etc. to study.

Users

Undergraduate students, graduate students and staff of Kumamoto University (Users must be affiliated with the University)

Get Help

Library staff and Student Teaching Assistant are available to provide help in advance of a reservation and on demand in this room, including research consultation and technical support.

Hours

By reservation:

Weekdays 9:00-21:30(Summer vacation, Spring vacation, Winter vacation 9:00-16:30)

Saturdays, Sundays, National holidays 12:00-17:30

Policies
  • May not be used for purposes other than study (e.g. Extra-curricular activities)
  • Resavations may be made 14 days in advance.
  • Up to 90 minutes at a time.
  • Only 2 reservations allowed per day.
  • Study rooms are intended primarily for group use. A group is two or more people.
  • Clean up after yourselves and leave the room in good condition for the next users, including erasing the whiteboard and disposing of trash.
  • Users are requested to cancel reservations in advance if their plans change, so that the space can be available to others.
Reservations and cancellations up to 1 day prior to use

Enter the required information on the My Library page of the library website to reserve a room.
The applicant shall present his or her student/staff ID at the service counter at least 5 minutes before use.

Projector remote control can be borrowed at the counter.
After using the room, the applicant shall report to the service counter.

If you used projector, return the remote control.

Fill out the "Group Study Room Use Application" at the service counter.

Present your student/staff ID at that time.
